• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering specializing in Structural Engineering
  • Preference for holders of an Israeli civil engineer’s license
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering, preferably in industrial projects
  • Full familiarity with the requirements of the Israeli's law and local authorities
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, quality assurance, and project management
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and across cultures
  • Fluent Hebrew and English
  • Oversee and supervise on-site construction and installation of civil works relating to foundations, pilling, road installation, drainage systems, building construction, cable and piping trenches construction, steel structures, civil works in HV, MV substations, fencing and generally any other civil work required for the Project completion.
  • Supervising and monitoring civil subcontractors to meet technical, quality and compliance requirements as set forth in civil drawings, specifications and schedule.
  • Verify that the civil works performed according to the standards and local laws and regulations
  • Secure the civil works implementation of contractual ligation from the contractor.
  • Detect possible civil works quality problems prior or during the works and proceed in problem solving by coordinating with lead civil supervisor.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is signed off and ready for handover per project schedule.
  • Perform all QA inspections in conjunction with the QA/QC Engineer / Manager and release works before being covered up with concrete, masonry or other works.
  • Observe and report findings of daily site activities from civil subcontractors; Raise Field Observation Reports for deficiencies when required.
  • Manage contractor productivity, providing corrective action to ensure required planned production schedule is met.
  • Monitor and track civil activities relating to project schedule through daily and weekly plans, logs, and reports.
  • Assist on-site construction team in resolving technical or engineering issues with vendors and contractors relating to civil disciplines.
  • Assess and determine the actual progress on site based on approved production schedule.
