Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Owner’s technical authority for all civil engineering matters (earth works, road and drainage work, foundation works, structural etc.) throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure that the construction complies with the design and contract requirements, applicable codes (IEC, IEEE), and local regulations
  • Participate in design review meetings and HAZOP studies
  • Monitor all civil construction activities and ensure that the construction is according to approved designs and quality standards
  • Assist in resolving engineering issues that arise during construction
  • Interface with the EPC contractor, Owner’s project team, and third-party consultants to
  • Ensure technical alignment
  • Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
  • Prepare the OE civil technical reports and escalate critical issues to the Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering specializing in structural
  • Registered Israeli civil engineer
  • Preferred holding an Israeli civil engineer licenses as structural engineer
  • Minimum of 15 years in Civil engineering on industrial large-scale projects
  • Experience in the construction of at least 2 power plants
  • In-depth knowledge of international design codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes)
  • Full familiarity with the requirements of the Israeli's law and local authorities
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, quality assurance, and project management
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and across cultures
  • Fluent Hebrew and English
